Red Cabbage Salad Gone Nuts

This cabbage salad recipe is made with red cabbage and with a lot of seeds and nuts. I was actually surprised to learn that a more popular name for purple cabbage is red cabbage. It really looks quite purple to me and not red. Anyway…

If you are allergic to nuts you can either eliminate the peanuts and cashews from this recipe or you can replace it with more seeds. You don’t have to worry…it will still be delicious your way as well.

    The Salad Part:

1. Mix the fried mixture together with the cabbage before it gets a chance to cool down. If the fried mixture cools down it will stick together too much to mix thoroughly.
