Home-made Tomato Sauce (Ketchup)

This is a very easy and quick tomato sauce recipe (ketchup) that you can make in the comfort of your home. It is a great recipe since it contains no vinegar and make use of sugar alternatives such as fructose. It is also very easy to adapt. So if you like a lot of spices just add your spices of choice and you are good to go. Do you want a sweeter taste? Just add more honey or fructose. Do you want a thicker consistency? Use less water. As I said…very adaptable.

We usually use the tomato sauce/ketchup on hamburgers or on a sandwich containing salad leaves, cucumber and tomatoes. It also goes nicely with chickpea scramble and/or vegan sausages.
