About this spread:
I must say, it took me a while to get use to replacing butter and margarine with a spread. At first it was very strange for me, but as soon as I got use to the idea I started experimenting with spreads. In my experimentation I accidentally made this chive and cashew spread. It turned out pretty good as long as the spread doesn’t stand for too long. Serving it as fresh as possible is the best.
Uses for this spread:
One can use this spread as a replacement for butter or margarine. We like to eat it on toast with tomato slices and lettuce. For those of you who don’t like chives…you can just replace the chives with spring onions or dill leaves.
